The owners of this historic village home had two primary requests during the planning phase of this 1 acre landscape renovation–sunny, colorful gardens and plenty of space for grandchildren to play. We created extra deep planting beds along one side of the property, leaving the rest of the yard for croquet, badminton and other games. Curved pathways bordered by low shrubbery, trellises covered with flowering vines, and new perennial gardens were constructed at the front of the property. Last, a new driveway was designed to complement an addition to the home and mature Screening Trees and Specimen Trees were placed strategically around the property to create privacy for the family.
