FISH HOUSE
Originally an Eastern Long Island potato barn, this building’s second iteration supported the other local primary industry when it became a fishmongers place of business. Today it is a residential dwelling. Our project included renovation of the primary residence (the original potato barn), the guest house, and the design of a new three-car garage, to create a generous family compound. Special features included the modification of windows on the north and south sides of the home along with the addition of skylights to allow more natural light into the partially submerged primary residence.
